Range of Services Offered

• Initial advice on vessel type and budget for any new vessel being considered within the commercial Ferry sector, Liveaboard Cruise boat market or Motor Yachts Markets.
  
• Tender writing around the final hull form decided on.
• Tender assessment. Once the tenders have been received, Mark and his team can provide a short list process and advise on the pro’s and con’s of each of the tenders.
• Contract negotiation with the selected shipyard. Mark has the unique experience of having been on the shipyard’s senior negotiation team for many years, but he has also been on the other side of the fence as as Owner when the order for the True North was placed with Austal. As such Mark brings to the table a very good balance of understanding of all of the issues that need to be considered during the contract negotiations process.
• Owner’s rep services. Either by way of direct involvement or by way of engaging other members of his team such as Bill Milby we can offer regular shipyard visits at critical times and offer detailed reports to the owner following said visits.
• Hand over protocols. Mark and his team know what to look for at hand over time and can make this process happens seamlessly, all the time ensuring that the customers interests are being attended to.
• Business plan writing for vessel financing. Mark and his team have written a number of business plan’s for operators over the years and they were also the team that wrote the business plan for North Star Cruises Australia’s purchase of the new 50m True North. Mark knows many of the different financiers that will offer finance on vessels and he can advise, introduce, assist and formally apply for finance on behalf of the customer.
• Crewing. Mark and his team do have access to various skilled marine people and it is possible that we can introduce our customers to potential Skippers and Engineers depending on the area of operation ad the specific requirements.
