Adventure Cruise Vessels
Displayed are just a cross section of the many boats Mark has been involved with since the early 80’s. Mark has conservatively sold over 150 vessels in that time ranging between 12m all the way through to 60m. Specific projects sold whilst either operating as a Director of Image Marine, or whilst operating as a Sales Manager at Austal Ships.
50m True North: Mark and Bill both had a major part in putting together the True North deal. Mark has a partner in North Star Cruises, Craig Howson. It was Craig’s vision to build the new vessel to replace the original 34m True North and Mark and Bill put the business plan together and negotiated the contract with Austal. Bill Milby stayed on as Owner’s rep throughout the build. The vessel was delivered 1 month ahead of schedule and perfectly on budget. |
34m True North: Just prior to selling Image to Austal in January 1998, Mark signed a contract with his now partner, Craig Howson, to build this now famous vessel the 34m True North. Craig and Mark have known eachother for over 20 years and they have now combined their extensive experience in boat building and operation which has created the very successful North Star Cruises Australia Pty Ltd. |
Paradise Sport: Sold to Mike Ball Dive Expeditions in QLD. This vessel is a 29m Cat and this vessel changed the market expectations in the liveaboard world. |
Aquacat: Sold to Aquacat Cruises in the Bahamas and once again this vessel won numerous awards for the best liveaboard of the year and the company also won an award of excellence. |
Island Exporer: A 39m liveaboard cat. Mark was involved in the cost build up, contract negotiations and general advice to the customer regarding the new liveaboard service that is now running in the Maldives supporting the Four Seasons resort. |
