North Star Cruise & Ferry Consulting Services was established in 2006 after recognising a need for supporting ship owners through the complex and time consuming process of procuring new vessels. Our wide experience from the ship building industry as well as ship operations over the last four decades give us a unique understanding of the issues encountered when implementing a vessel procurement program. By offering this experience and understanding combined with a professional approach we add significant value to our clients' projects.

Through our offices in Australia and Europe we offer services to ship owners world wide. Our small team of highly experienced professionals travel regularly to learn the operator's needs first hand as well as providing on site presence at the ship yards. This flexibility together with our personal approach give our clients the confidence that their newbuild project is being looked after in the best possible way by people they know and trust.

Since our inception we have been involved with a number of exciting projects and we are proud of every one of them. Having been selected to provide services for some of the world's largest aluminium vessel contracts ever written as well as having been selected through strict international tender processes gives us confidence that we provide one of the best and most comprehensive services of this kind available in the industry today.

North Star's approach to project management focuses on acquiring an excellent understanding of the operator's needs early in the project, providing on the ground presence at the selected yard during the construction phase, tracking and logging project progress while providng a communication link between the yard and the owner, assisting the owner with vessel delivery and service commencement as well as ongoing operational support if required.
